Pickups is a free Android app that counts how many times you pick up your phone each day. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains clearly what data the app does and does not collect.
Pickups does not collect any personal data. The app tracks the number of times your screen is unlocked each day. This count is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.
We do not share any data with third parties. Ever. There are no analytics, no advertising networks, and no third-party SDKs in the app.
Pickups does not connect to the internet. The only exception is the optional Buy Me a Coffee link, which opens your browser if you choose to tap it. No data is sent — it simply opens a webpage.
All data — including your daily pickup count, your daily goal, and your historical averages — is stored entirely on your device using Android's built-in storage. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all of this data.
Pickups does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page. Since the app collects no data, we do not anticipate any meaningful changes.
